Feeding Frenzy Pizza Parties are pretty special. The idea is that everybody gets to participate. We bring the dough. We bring the toppings and the equipment. We use your oven to produce wonderful, fresh, made-to-order pizzas - based on your friends' requests - for your party. The process is so much fun for guests, that it by itself serves as a terrific ice-breaker at any gathering.
We start with handmade dough, of course. Our dough works really well for thin-crust, thick-crust, and even pan pizzas. We make some terrific sauces, too, rich red or white, well-seasoned sauces, aromatic with fresh garden herbs. But often, you'll find, some of the best pizzas don't use a sauce at all, but just a bit of garlic and olive oil.
Since describing the variety of our potential pizza toppings as "unlimited" probably won't help you make choices let us offer a few popular choices to have on hand:
Cheeses: Mozzarella, Parmasan, Gorgonzola, Feta, Cheddar, Ricotta, Goat Cheese, Stilton, Provolone, Fontina, Asiago, Pepper Jack
Vegetables: Artichoke Hearts, Roasted Garlic, Fresh Basil, Onions, Mushrooms, Potatoes, Olives, Capers, Peppers (Sweet, fresh or roasted; Hot, fresh or pickled), chick peas, Tomatos (fresh, roasted, or sun-dried), fennel, roasted eggplant
Meats, Faux Meat, and Seafood: Pepperoni and Salami, yes, but also Coppa, pancetta, Procuitto di Parma, roasted beef or pork, grilled chicken, "Field Roast" smoked tomato, vegan grain "meat" salami, shrimp, scallops, anchovies
Believe it or not, we make vegan pizzas all the time. We have vegans in the family, so we've really made a point to address that issue.
